Walk into any supermarket and pick up a body wash. Check the ingredients. You’ll find water, a surfactant to create lather, a fragrance blend, and maybe a token botanical at 0.1% concentration — enough to put on the packaging, not enough to do anything meaningful.

What’s in it and why it matters
2% Salicylic Acid (BHA)
Oil-soluble and pore-penetrating. Salicylic acid goes where water-based cleansers can’t — inside the pore itself — dissolving the excess sebum, dead skin cells and debris that accumulate and cause congestion, rough texture and post-workout skin flare-ups. 2% concentration is the maximum available without a prescription and it works at clinical strength every time you shower.
Lactic Acid (AHA)
While salicylic acid works inside the pore, lactic acid works at the surface. A gentle alpha hydroxy acid that smooths skin texture, brightens skin tone and accelerates cell turnover — revealing fresher, cleaner skin with consistent use. The combination of BHA and AHA in a single wash is rare and highly effective. Most body washes use one acid or none.
Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Bark Extract (Ceylon Cinnamon)
The ingredient mass-market brands leave out. Ceylon cinnamon extract is a natural antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory botanical — it helps calm skin irritation, supports a balanced skin environment and adds a layer of protection that synthetic-only formulas can’t match.
